National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service for Mahama happening today at UPSA

President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will this afternoon join worshippers at a National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service, part of activities for the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony.

The Service will begin at 3.00 pm in the auditorium of the UPSA at Madina in Accra and is open to the public, according to Jubilee House.

Several dignitaries including the Speaker of Parliament, Members of Parliament, Executives of the National Democratic Congress are expected to grace the event. Music performance will be executed by Harmonious Chorale and others.

President Mahama who was sworn in on January 7, amassed over 56 per cent of the total votes cast to win the 2024 presidential elections.

NB: Prof Music Production will be in charge of sound production for Harmonious Chorale.
