Papa Kwabena Boafo Junior, a 7-year-old Ghanaian, on October 26, 2025, joined one of Ghana’s most celebrated chorale ensembles, Harmonious Chorale (HC) Ghana, for its celestial concert Heaven 2.0.
The rising star and the globally recognised choir treated the hundreds of audiences gathered at the Accra International Conference Centre to a night of soothing music and bliss.
One of the many performances that was recently premiered on HC’s official YouTube platform is “His Eye is on the Sparrow,” composed by Civilla Martin and Charles Gabriel. Inspired by Matthew 10:29-31, this is one of the most beloved Christian hymns, known for its message of God’s care, faith, and reassurance.
Papa Kwabena Boafo Junior, with a “powerful, soul-stirring voice”, and HC left many in tears as they pondered over the message of the hymn.
For Papa Boafo, this opportunity granted by the Executive Director of HC, Dr James Varrick Armaah, pushes him closer to his dream of becoming a world-class singer who also has a passion for reading.
Many Ghanaians on social media have expressed support and believe Papa Kwabena Boafo will one day put Ghana on the map with his amazing voice.
