The holiday celebration got much better because one of Ghana’s favourite choral ensembles is commemorating its 20th anniversary in grand style.
Yes! You read that right. The ever-creative DYnamic Choir is holding its 20th anniversary concert, christened Ebenezer, at the Makers House Chapel International (Haatso-Atomic Road, near GAEC) in Accra on Monday, September 21, 2026.
The event, which promises to be a blissful one, commences at 4:00 PM. Worried about how to get to the venue from your home or place of convenience? That has been catered for. At Atomic Junction Total Filling Station, a bus will be stationed at the location to move patrons to the venue from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

From Circle, take the Nsawam road towards Achimota. At Achimota, continue onto the N6 at St. John’s, and turn right into Dome. Straight through Dome, turn right onto Haatso-Atomic Road. The venue is on your right.
From Madina/Adenta, head to Atomic Junction and turn onto Haatso-Atomic road. Pass Atlantic Mall, KFC Haatso, through Haatso. Pass GAEC (Nuclear Sciences) then turn left to the venue.
From Kasoa, take the N1 towards Accra. Pass Mile 11, Weija, and continue onto N1, through Awoshie and Kwashieman. At Achimota, turn left onto the N6. Pass Accra Zoo, head north. Continue towards Dome. Turn left to the venue.
From Dansoman, head towards Mallam and join the road to Awoshie. At Kwashieman, take the N1 towards Achimota and turn left onto the N6. Pass Accra Zoo, head north, and continue towards Dome. Turn onto the Dome Road to the venue.
From Amasaman, head down the N6 towards Pokuase. Through Pokuase Interchange, stay on N6. Pass Ofankor. At Taifa, turn left towards Dome. Turn right onto Haatso-Atomic Road. Pass the Dome-Kwabena junction. Turn right, before GAEC, to the venue.

Last year at the National Theatre in Accra, the choir with He Lives commemorated 19 years. At this year’s event, the full story—a 20-year journey—of how the musical group almost collapsed but was revived will be told. It has been documented, and so, do come prepared for a book launch. It is simply a story of perseverence and reinvention.
Gracing his presence at this august event as Special Guest of Honour is His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, who is the Ga Mantse and President of the Ga Traditional Council. Not only should you expect a splendid ministration from the choir, but also a masterful performance from the guest soloists, namely, Lordina The Soprano, Emmanuel Kwabena Oppong Ntiamoah, Kelvin Azameti-Mensah, Andrew Djarbann, James Amlatu Addoquaye Nii Addo, Daniel Opoku Ampomah, Akosua Pomaa Ntim, and Grace MaaYaa Forson.
