As Africa Day 2025 is marked across the continent and among the diaspora, the African Continental Grand Celebration (ACGC) has unveiled its official anthem, “Music Brings Us Together As One”, in honour of the African Union’s theme for the year: “Justice for Africans and People of African Descent through Reparations.”
Composed by James Varrick Armaah and performed by the dynamic VoiceBox Vacation Voices, the anthem champions unity, peace, and togetherness—echoing the spirit of Africa’s ongoing journey toward justice and integration.
Sound production by Prof Music Production and visually brought to life by ISO Media.
This year’s Africa Day celebrations have sparked renewed conversations about historical redress, with institutions, leaders, and communities reaffirming their commitment to a united African future grounded in dignity and self-determination.
Music lovers and enthusiasts joined the VoiceBox Vacation Voices (VVV) event which took place from December 26 to 28, 2024, at the iconic Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Accra.
This unique three-day experience, endorsed by the Beyond the Return Secretariat, provided an engaging mix of music workshops, rehearsals, and performances designed for everyone.
