Michael Dodoo, CEO of Prof Music Production (PMP), emerged as the winner of the Music Producer/Engineer of the Year category at the 2024 Ghana Youth Excellence Awards.
The second edition of the Ghana Youth Excellence Awards 2024, a celebration of the remarkable accomplishments of Ghanaian youth across various sectors, took centre stage at the National Theatre on Friday, May 10, 2024.
The event recognized many Ghanaian artistes, including Mr Dodoo for their exceptional contributions to the music and entertainment industry in the country.
As a versatile figure in the field, Michael has proven to be a jack of all trades, excelling in sound engineering, multi-instrumentalism, vocal production, conducting, arranging, and education. His extensive skill set and dedication have earned him a remarkable reputation as one of the top specialists in the entertainment industry.
Michael’s notable achievements include significant sound production work for prestigious events such as state banquets, presidential functions, and choral festivals across West Africa and beyond. His work with renowned groups like Harmonious Chorale Ghana and the Morgan State University Choir has further cemented his status as a leading figure in the sound engineering and music production space.
