It was a blissful Sunday when Ghana’s award-winning Harmonious Chorale (HC) hosted the world-renowned Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale in a grand and unforgettable concert.
The Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) came alive on July 13, blooming like a flower as angelic harmonies filled the air—sweet and refreshing like the scent of fresh pollen.
The free concert drew a mammoth crowd, all eager for an exceptional night of choral music—and they were certainly not disappointed.
From the moment of soundcheck with Prof Music Production (PMP), the atmosphere was charged with promise. Director and pianist of the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale, Jeffery R. Smith, took charge.
The young talents of the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale took to the stage with finesse. Their rhythm, pitch, timbre, and tone were flawless, leaving the audience wanting more with every note.
Harmonious Chorale was equally breathtaking, delivering rich Ghanaian melodies that got the entire hall dancing—even those who usually needed a bit more time to find their groove.
