Ghanaian singer Gyakie, born Jackline Acheampong, is set to drop her debut album, After Midnight, on 29th August 2025.
Gyakie described the album as a deeply personal project, shaped by the stillness and mystery of the night.
According to her, the peace and quiet, the sounds from the birds, the serenity, and everything about that midnight fuel her creativity.
The trailer of her debut album is already available online, giving fans a first taste of what to expect when the full album is released.
The production, handled by Studio Dream, was directed by Alex Piper with Ebony Tagoe serving as executive producer and creative director, supported by creative producer Delenn Vaughan and creative assistant Teann Roberts; the project featured Daniel Attoh as director of photography, Black Twista as production designer, and Elaina Ohemaa Kissi in the role of young Gyakie.
