International Festival for Choral & Traditional Music 9th edition

The Symphonic Choir Ghana will participate in the 9th edition of the International Festival for Choral & Traditional Music happening in Kenya from October 7 to 11, 2026.

Created in 2012 with the purpose of strengthening the bonds of friendship and fraternity, AFRICA SINGS, this pan-African festival of choral & traditional music, has taken place in various countries all over the world.

The Symphonic Choir Ghana is in the mixed category—grand prix.

On October 7, guests will be received, and an opening ceremony will be held. The next day, a workshop and a concert will take place. A competition, an evening celebrating African dresses, and a concert dubbed “Tumaini La Afrika” will be held on October 9. On Saturday, these activities will be held: a tour, an awards evening, a concert, and a closing ceremony.
